Foster An Animal

Fostering a cat or dog is a rewarding experience that helps us increase the number of animals we can care for and also provides a calmer home environment for animals who may not do well in a shelter environment.

When you foster a pet, we will cover all vet expenses and food. You’ll be required to provide transportation for animals to-and-from vet appointments and meetings with adopters.

EHS has visiting hours, only for cats who are at our shelter. Visiting hours are 2-6pm on Saturday & Sunday. If you'd like to adopt a cat or dog (including one of our special dogs), please apply online and one of our volunteers will contact you.
