Cat Foster Form

Last Updated 16/10/2020

Welcome to EHS cat fostering!

Thank you for your interest in fostering. Our primary foster needs are a.) long-term fosters who are interested in socializing skittish/fearful adult cats and have the time needed to do so (we will provide tips and ongoing support), and b.) long-term fosters who have no other pets, and have experience in administering medication to cats.

As a foster parent, you would provide a safe home free of toxic plants, keep the cat indoors at all times, provide weekly email updates to EHS and drive the cat to vet appointments as instructed.

** Please note that our partner vets are in east Mississauga and Etobicoke. You will also need access to a vehicle to drive to vet appointments, or be willing to pay for a taxi/ride-sharing application. **

If this sounds like you, please complete this form and a volunteer will get in touch with you to answer any questions you have.

Step 1 of 6
We require our foster parents to drive fosters to our partner vets currently located in East Mississauga or Etobicoke, and or the shelter
EHS has visiting hours, only for cats who are at our shelter. Visiting hours are 2-6pm on Saturday & Sunday. If you'd like to adopt a cat or dog (including one of our special dogs), please apply online and one of our volunteers will contact you.
