BIO:
- Bully Mix, 6.5 years, Male (neutered)
- Medium-size (55 lbs), Medium-High energy
- Riggs was found as a stray and was at an over-crowded municipal shelter before coming to EHS
- He is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations
ABOUT RIGGS:
- Riggs is an intelligent dog who genuinely enjoys learning and working
- Well-behaved on walks, he will walk alongside his handler without pulling, showcasing his obedience and eagerness to please
- Initially reserved, Riggs will take his time warming up to new people, once Riggs trusts you, he becomes an affectionate and loyal companion
- Riggs is relaxed and well-behaved in the home
- Our Trainer looks forward to working with his adopters and providing knowledge transfer to his new family. Included in his adoption is 6 complimentary training classes and ongoing support to ensure a successful transition
RIGG’S IDEAL HOME:
- Riggs will make a great companion for a single adult or couple who are committed to an active lifestyle, and enjoy regular walks and hikes
- We are not recommending him for a home with children or small animals
- A quiet neighbourhood for walks and direct access to a fenced yard would be best for Riggs
- Riggs needs a home, with structure, routine and few visitors, he can be anxious around new people
- He is not dog-reactive and gets along with most dogs. If his adopter has another dog, we will arrange a meet & greet
