Max (Husky/Lab X)

Calm, patient and friendly! A true gentle giant!

Max’s foster family says “He is very sweet, he will settle at your feet and likes to be scratched behind the ears. His happy place is in the car or outdoors. When outside he’ll happily lay down and watch you work in the garden”

ABOUT MAX: 

• Husky/Lab Mix, 4 years old, male, extra-large, approximately 75 lb
• He is fun and has good manners
• Max is very loyal and he creates strong bonds with the people he knows best
• He walks very well on leash but expect him to be very interested in squirrels, rabbits and skunks!
• Max has mastered many skills. He knows sit, paw, down, touch, wait and place
• Max is neutered, house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations

MAX’S IDEAL HOME:

• A detached home with direct access to a fully fenced yard would be ideal
• While Max is not a very vocal dog, when he does bark he is loud so we are recommending him for a home with no shared walls
• No small children, cats, small dogs or other small pets in the home
