BIO: 

• Mastiff Mix, 6.5 years, Male (neutered)
• Large (75 lb), High-energy
• Max was found as a stray and was at an over-crowded municipal shelter before coming to EHS
• Max is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations

ABOUT MAX: 

• Max is very friendly and loves people, an adult dog with puppy energy and wiggles
• Max is a fun, energetic dog and makes a great companion for hikes, runs and other adventures
• He loves playing with toys and interactive games and enjoys having opportunities to use both his body and his brain
• Max is smart, eager to learn and responsive to training. He knows his heel and has learned how to walk nicely on leash
• Our Trainer looks forward to working with his adopters and providing knowledge transfer to his new family. Included in his adoption is 6 complimentary training classes and ongoing support to ensure a successful transition

MAX’S IDEAL HOME:

• Max will make a great companion for a single adult or couple who are committed to an active lifestyle, and enjoy regular walks and hikes
• We are not recommending him for a home with children or small animals
• A quiet neighbourhood for walks and direct access to a fenced yard would be best for Max
• Max is a dog who can become easily over-excited, so he needs people who can help him stay calm and settled, continue his training and provide structure 
• Max is strong so a person experienced with strong dogs is important
• He is a quiet dog and may do well in a home with shared walls

He’s been waiting a long time for the right match, and we know Max has so much to offer the person who gives him his chance.
