Winslow is ready for his fresh start!

This sweet, easygoing, handsome tabby was surrendered to EHS through no fault of his own, and he’s been nothing but a delight. He's looking to start a new chapter in his life with a true forever home of his own.

About Winslow

  • In foster
  • Winslow is friendly, sweet, and affectionate.
  • He can be a little timid at first, but once he feels safe, he becomes wonderfully loyal and likes to stay close to his person.
  • He’s very content spending the day on his own while his foster dad is at school, and he’ll happily wander out to greet him when he gets home.
  • Winslow is a nonstop purr machine, and if there’s a fluffy blanket nearby, he’ll happily settle in and make some biscuits.
  • He prefers quiet, dark spaces for daytime naps, often sleeping in the closet, and at night he curls up beside his foster dad.
  • He’s comfortable being picked up and cradled, and especially loves being held at the window to watch the birds. When he’s had enough, he’ll gently wiggle to let you know he’s ready to hop down.
  • He’s a bit wary of unfamiliar noises and may give a quick hiss at the front door or a phone playing music, but it’s just his way of expressing uncertainty. He settles easily and never shows any aggressive behaviour.
  • When Winslow sleeps, he loves to be touching his foster dad. He’s a total cuddlebug, and physical touch is clearly his love language.
  • He’s very good with strangers and LOVES to have their attention.
  • Winslow is a chatty little guy and makes sure his foster dad knows when it’s “breakfast time” the moment he hears the alarm go off.
  • He LOVES his wand and catnip toys.
  • Winslow loves to be pet and brushed, but he is particular about being touched on certain parts of his body. His lower back and paws are “no touch zones” and belly rubs are not his thing.
  • Winslow is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

Winslow’s Ideal Home

  • He’d thrive in a loving home where he can relax, explore, and be someone’s cherished companion.
  • A household with previous cat experience is preferred.
  • Winslow may be tempted to door dash. His adoptive family should monitor him around doorways to keep him safe and secure.
  • Winslow would do best as the only cat in the home.
  • His future home must not have a dog.
  • We’re not certain if he has experience with small children.
  • A family who can give him the love, affection, and attention he desires would be a perfect match!

Winslow is the full package—friendly, affectionate, and so deserving of a second chance. Are you ready to welcome this charming tabby into your life and give him the fur-ever home he’s been waiting for? If so, fill out an adoption application today!
