State of Grayce.
Amazing Grayce, how sweet a meow! Grayce arrived at EHS as part of a larger group of cats who were all surrendered due to overcrowding. With her bright eyes and mischievous little smile, Grayce is ready for her ‘fur-ever’ home.
About Gracye
- At shelter
- Grayce and her friends have lovingly been dubbed the "Greyscale Gang" because of their varying shades of black, white, and grey.
- Grayce is described as sweet but a little shy. She is still cautious in her interactions with people and it may take some time to win her over.
- Grayce prefers to observe people from a distance at first. It’s best to give her time to come to you.
- Once you’ve earned Grayce’s trust, she may give your outstretched hand a sniff and accept a few chin scratches either with a back-scratcher or by hand.
- She enjoys indulging in churu treats and may even eat some right from your fingers!
- Gracy has her playful moments and really enjoys playing with a wand toy.
- She loves to get cozy inside her cardboard house in her kennel but seems to prefer to relax on the highest shelf in the room where she can watch everything from a safe place.
- Grayce enjoys her cat naps, especially if another cat is willing to join her for cuddles.
- While she is sociable with other cats, she is most often curled up with Argenta.
- Grayce is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans.
- Grayce is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people.
- Grayce is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Grayce’s Ideal Home
- A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
- Grayce enjoys the company of other cats and would like a cat friend in her adoptive home
- We are unsure if Grayce is good with dogs or other animals.
- She is an expert cat napper and would appreciate a cozy cat tree or high-level space to sleep and relax in her home.
- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Grayce settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Grayce with a successful transition to her forever home.
