Surrendered from a multi-cat home, Cloud, a handsome black and white tuxedo, arrived at EHS ready to embark on a new journey. Don’t let his name fool you: he is anything but gloom and doom! Cloud is actually a gentle giant who, despite the appearance of having a sad face, is actually the sweetest guy; he just wants to be loved. You are surrounded by love, Cloud, and your days will continue to become brighter as you learn that humans can be trusted.
About Cloud

- Cloud is a laid-back boy who, once he feels comfortable, enjoys pets on his head from both the back-scratcher and by hand, even leaning in for more. You might even catch him sticking his little pink tongue out when he’s really enjoying chin scratches!
- He can usually be found chilling on his cat tree, sometimes even snuggling with a fellow roomie.
- Cloud enjoys being brushed with a soft brush. Might this be your opportunity to bond with our sweet boy?
- He is a foodie who enjoys being hand-fed. (But his kibble only, please…he's working on his beach body for the summer!) Let’s not forget the occasional treat—he certainly appreciates those!
- No toys have piqued his interest just yet; Cloud is still trying to figure out what these silly wand toys are all about.
- Thanks to the dedicated work of shelter volunteers, Cloud recently graduated from EHS’s socialization program, where he learned to feel safe and comfortable with human interaction.
- Although he isn’t exactly a “lap cat,” our volunteers feel that once he has formed a bond with his forever humans, there’s a good chance he’ll want to snuggle next to them on the couch. He's an incredibly sweet boy!
- Cloud has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat but is not transmissible to humans or other species.
- A cat with FIV may be overlooked, but with routine vet care and a loving home, cats who have FIV can live a long, healthy life.
- Cloud is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Cloud's Ideal Home
- Cloud will likely benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without young children.
- He enjoys the company of felines and would be happy to share a home with a FIV+ friend.
- Cloud does not require medication but vet checkups twice a year are recommended.
- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Cloud settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Cloud with a successful transition to his forever home.
