Lights, camera, action! Our dogs recently had a brush with stardom as we had a visit from a social media influencer who brought the Puppy Glam Cam to our shelter.
What’s the Puppy Glam Cam? Well, it’s a miniature red carpet for dogs to get the celebrity treatment with slow-motion videos, just like at the Golden Globes or the Oscars. And the videos don’t disappoint. 🐶
We want to thank Owen, the dog-lover behind this adorable account for featuring our adoptable dogs. It was a great way to show them off, and maybe capture the hearts of someone wanting to adopt these stars!
Three dogs were featured in their own special video, including:
Tall, dark and handsome, Geno could be a movie star with his good looks! A rottweiler-boxer mix, he loves people and charms everyone he meets. He gave his best “blue steel” for the camera and showed off his good side. He’s looking for a family that will take him for lots of walks to get out all his energy.
With his distinctive ears, Pepe showed he was good at taking direction and strutted down the red carpet with confidence (and his tail wagging). A bulldog mix, he loves to play and can still act like a puppy. He’s looking for a home with a family that can match his energy and personality!
As a Beagle mix, Twiggy has a face made for the screen. With his soulful eyes he worked it for the camera, showing off his fun personality as well as his more thoughtful side. Twiggy prefers spending time with his people over playing with toys. He’s looking for a family that is patient and understanding, as he also likes his personal space to decompress.
These Puppy Glam Cam videos not only highlight the unique personalities of our dogs but also help them find their forever homes by reaching a wider audience. It was also a fun day for our volunteers as they love to show off our wonderful dogs.
