Our shelter pets are stars once again!
On Tuesdays, CP24 dedicates a segment to local animal rescues as a way to highlight adoptable pets.
We’re grateful to be a part of Take Me Home Tuesdays, and have had several of our cats and dogs featured recently, with many finding their happy endings not long after making their TV appearance.
Here are recent pets who have been featured on the small screen:

Back in March, our handsome boy, Geno, charmed everyone at CP24 when he appeared in the studio.
Geno did an amazing job, and so did our volunteer Rylie, who was fostering him. 🙂
We’re happy to say that Geno has been adopted and is now enjoying the good life with his forever family!
In May, we returned to the spotlight with Pumba visiting the CP24 set with our volunteer, Becca.
Pumba is a super sweet, one-eyed cat who loves people. He can be shy at first, but he was totally chill during his segment, showing off his easy-going nature.
It wasn’t long after he appeared on TV that he was adopted!

Rolly is a real charmer and won over the hearts of everyone at CP24 when he was featured in a segment in July with our volunteer, Connie.
He was on his best behaviour during his time in the spotlight, showing off his unique different coloured eyes.
Rolly made the most of his TV time, and he’s recently been adopted.
Young Vermax made his TV debut in August when he was just a three-month-old kitten. Becca once again did an amazing job showing him off and talking about all the great work EHS does to help animals.
Vermax was adopted over the summer and is now having a great time with his new family!

In September, we brought another adorable kitten to CP24. Five-month-old Gausman was part of a litter of kittens named after Toronto Blue Jays players.
Our volunteer, April, brought him to the studio just as the Jays were heating up on the field. He showed off how well-behaved he was and charmed everyone in the studio.
Gausman, along with his brothers, Bichette, Kirk and Guerrero Jr. have all been adopted and are cheering on the Jays from their new homes.
We love being a part of this segment and want to thank CP24 for having us on the show. Watch the morning show on Tuesdays and you might just see an EHS pet on the screen.
