Monthly donations are extremely important to us as we operate entirely from fundraising and donations. We receive no government funding and we aren’t associated with any other large animal rescue groups (such as Toronto Humane Society or OSPCA). Knowing we can rely on a certain amount of money each month allows us to plan for our expenses.
We currently have more than 60 animals in foster care, along with a few of our Sanctuary residents. A monthly gift of $20 will go a long way in covering the monthly expenses for food and supplies for one animal. When you become a monthly donor, you help us plan for the future so we know how many more animals we can help.
Special animals such as December the cat, who stayed with us for 650 days before finding his perfect home. We invest in every animal because we know they all deserve a forever home.
Whether that’s because they need more time to adjust to a new situation, have a medical condition or need behavioural training.
Remember, as a 100% volunteer-run organization, we make the most of our funds with all money going towards the care of our animals and the running of the shelter.
