We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been chosen as the charity partner of the Polar Paws Trail Race 2020, happening Saturday, February 29 in Durham Regional Forest.
This event includes a 5K, 10K and 25K winter trail walk/run race through single and double track trails. It’s a dog-friendly event, and dogs are allowed to race with their owners in the 5K race.
Volunteers from EHS will be at the event to cheer on the runners and to spread the word on the great work we do to help animals who are looking for a second chance.
This is a fun and unique race that will take you through snow-covered terrain in a beautiful forest area. Registration is between $50 to $75 depending on the race length and 20% of each entry will go towards EHS, plus any funds that participants raise or donate.
