Limited visitation for cats. See Details HERE
Don’t let his name fool you, Gramps is a playful cat who is still full of energy. He came to EHS after being found in a park last October, but we assume he was a family cat at some point as he’s very friendly.
Older cats are often overlooked, but at approximately 11-years-old, Gramps still has lots of love to give. But he needs a special family who will also help him with his IBD, which is a chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. This is being managed with a special diet and medication, along with a blood panel check every six months to monitor his kidney and liver values. His adopter will need to understand his need for medication, monitoring and the special diet, and be able to take on this additional cost. In return, the adopter will get an absolutely amazing cat in their household!
Gramps would probably accept a family with small children, but we don't know how he would do with dogs or other cats. Learn more about Gramps on our website.
