Black cats are beautiful and Billy is no exception!
Billy was surrendered to EHS along with his brother, Willy, when their elderly owner’s living situation changed, and, sadly, she could no longer keep them. This person had kindly taken this pair into her home a few years earlier after their first owner had passed away, so these brothers have had some notable changes in their lives so far. Billy is understandably still adjusting in foster care, but he has been described as calm, friendly, and approachable. We look forward to seeing this sweet boy find the truly fur-ever home that he deserves!
About Billy
- In foster
- Billy is a bit shyer than his brother, Willy, and although it may take him a bit longer to adjust to a new situation, this gentle boy loves pets and affection, just like his brother!
- This black beauty also loves to be brushed!
- Billy enjoys window-gazing as part of his daily routine.
- Looking for a pair of copycats? At first glance, these brothers, who both have short, black (panther-like!) fur and yellow eyes, can be difficult to tell apart, but there is at least one distinguishing characteristic: Willy has a little notch at the top of his left ear.
- Billy has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Billy's Ideal Home
- Billy and his brother are companionable, but just like panthers, these brothers do seem more solitary by nature when it comes to each other. Billy can be adopted with his brother, Willy, but he would also be fine in a home on his own.
- Although we are still getting to know Billy, we do know that he is a bit shy at first, but also, once comfortable, he will do great in a home that will give him plenty of love and attention!
- We are unsure if Billy is good with dogs, other animals, or children.
Is your home the purr-fect habitat for a “house panther” (or two)? If so, why not apply to adopt Billy (and perhaps Willy?) today!
