Handsome Lufu is a lover boy! Aptly named (from old English meaning love, warm affection, attachment, strong feeling), he’s a cat that wants to be wherever his people are. His former family loved him but they were no longer able to care for him and so turned to EHS for our help. And, we are more than happy to provide the care he needs to find his next forever home.
About Lufu

- Gentle Lufu’s calls for affection are unparalleled. He is most certainly a lap cat who wants all the pets.
- Lufu enjoys being brushed, which is an important part of a cat’s overall health!
- He also has a very friendly, playful side to balance things out. We’ll report back when we figure out if he has a favourite toy or game.
- Lufu gets along with other cats, but isn’t fond of young children
- Lufu is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Lufu’s Ideal Home
- Lufu will do well in a home where he can be showered with the attention he craves!
- He needs to be in a home without young children.
- Lufu could be a solo guy or go into a home with another feline-friendly cat.
- We aren’t sure how he is with other animals.
- Lufu is currently on a special diet to address some urinary tract concerns.
- EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption to assist Lufu with successfully transitioning to a forever home. During this time, our skilled volunteers will offer support to the potential adopters as they get to know Lufu and help ensure everyone settles in comfortably together.
If a “Velcro kitty” is your speed, the Lufu may very well be your guy!
