Limited visitation for cats. See Details HERE
Would you be warm if you spent your winter outside like this?
The Etobicoke Humane Society wants to do their part by building cozy outdoor enclosures for the feral cats in Etobicoke and the GTA. It is an unfortunate reality that many cats do not have the luxury of a place to call home -- indoors where it is safe and warm. Our goal this year is to build a minimum of 50 enclosures and place them in areas where there are feral cats to help them ward off the elements of our Toronto winters.
We are looking for the following items to help us with the project:
Any donations of these items would be appreciated. If you would like to make a financial donation, you can do so through Canada Helps as follows:

If you know of any areas where there are cat colonies that could benefit from these enclosures, please email: karenhehs@gmail.com
Thank you for your continued support and helping us bring some warmth to the feral community.

Update
We will be assembling the outdoor cat enclosures at the shelter on Sunday, December 4 beginning around 10:00 a.m. If you are interested in helping out, please email karenhehs@gmail.com so we have an idea of how many people we will have. It is very rewarding to know that we will be helping, in a small way, to keep cats a little bit warmer during the Toronto winter month.
