Have you ever thought about fostering a dog but weren’t sure where to start? Maybe you’ve wondered what kind of support you’d receive, how long dogs stay in foster care, or what it’s really like to open your home to a rescue pup.
Etobicoke Humane Society (EHS) is here to help.
Short-term fostering experiences positively impact shelter dog, reduce stress and kennel fatigue.
Join us on Wednesday, June 17 @ 7:00 -7:45 pm to learn how you can become a Respite Volunteer for dogs. We’re introducing a short-term Respite Program to give shelter dogs a temporary break from the shelter environment in the home of a Respite Volunteer. Come learn how you can become a Respite Volunteer and bring a dog into your home for a day, a few days/overnights or over the holidays.
It’s a Bark-cation!
