Betty White was a legendary actress and was known for her love of pets and even hosted a show in the 1970s dedicated to animals. 

She would have turned 100-years-old on January 17, but sadly passed away on New Year’s Eve.

To honour her, the #BettyWhiteChallenge was started, which encourages people to donate to animal rescues on January 17.
