It’s a time of year for giving, but when you buy a 50/50 raffle ticket, you could both give and receive at the same time. Be eligible for our early bird prizes, plus the grand prize jackpot, and also know you’re helping support our amazing shelter pets.
Funds raised from the 50/50 raffle will go towards vet care for our animals, which cost more than $300,000 in 2021. Vet care is our largest expense, especially with vet costs increasing during the pandemic. This includes spays/neuters, medication, surgeries, dental care and more.

We Have Early Bird Prizes
The first early bird draw for an amazing $1,200 was held on November 25 - and the winner is Valerie G. with ticket number #C-29860!
Our second early bird draw for a beautiful gold and diamond necklace, valued at over $3,000, was held on December 21 - and the winner is Shelley W. with ticket number #C-32618!
Grand Prize
Our grand prize jackpot ended up being an amazing $38,370 and we’re excited to announce the winner is Kelly G.B., who takes home half the prize money.
The other half will go towards our shelter and will be put to good use, helping to cover vet bills for our awesome cats and dogs.
Veterinary costs are our biggest expense every year and this money comes at a time when costs have been increasing due to the pandemic. We rely on fundraisers like this one to ensure we’re able to give our animals the best care possible so they’re happy and healthy when they get adopted.

Who can play?
To take part in the 50/50 raffle residents must reside in Ontario and be 18 years of age or older.
* Please note tickets are only available online and Etobicoke Humane Society Board of Directors and Leadership Volunteers (Managing Directors) as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
