Friendly, Affectionate & Calm

BIO: 

• Vizsla Mix, 4 years old, Male (neutered)
• Medium-sized (50 lbs), Medium-energy
• Milo was previously adopted from EHS and has returned to us so we can help him work through his tendency to become protective of someone he forms a strong bond with. With the support of his foster family, Milo is making amazing progress, he's grown leaps and bounds, all he needs for this is structure and guidance
• He is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations

ABOUT MILO: 

• His greetings are friendly, he loves people a lot and is affectionate
• He is food motivated and responds well to obedience cues and interaction with people, making him a great candidate for positive reinforcement training
• Milo walks well on leash; he shows some reactivity to other dogs and prey drive to small critters - his Foster family is working on this with him and he is showing improvement, with consistency he'll get even better.
• He has not shown any destructive behaviour when left alone in the house
• Milo loves belly rubs and leaning against you for more pets

MILO’S IDEAL HOME:

• Milo makes a great walking companion and would do well with a family that likes to stay active
• He would do well in a calm, not too busy home to continue to build his confidence and let his true affectionate and gentle nature shine
• We are not recommending him for a home with children or other pets
• Milo is a quiet dog, he may do well in a home with shared walls

He is looking for a fresh start with a family that can appreciate his gentle, loyal nature.
