A Dog Receiving a Homemade Treat

Vegan & Homemade For Your Fur-Babies

Have you ever felt bad about not being able to share your food with your little furry friend, because it’s not safe for them? Seeing their puppy eyes stare at you while you eat your food, not knowing why they aren’t getting any from their human? You can’t even communicate to them that it’s for their own good, so they’re just left feeling sad and betrayed.

Have you also ever wondered what dog treats taste like? Have you ever wanted to take a bite out of them, just out of curiosity? Just to see why our little furry friends love them so much? Why they slobber over them every time you open the bag up? Well, now you can with this very easy, homemade dog cookie recipe that’s perfectly safe for you and your dog to eat!

Ingredients

  • Peanut Butter
  • Bananas
  • Oats

Peanut butter is a very well loved treat amongst all dogs (and many humans), so it is most definitely safe. Bananas are also safe for consumption, as long as they don’t eat them in excessive quantities, as too much sugar may upset their stomachs. Oats are not only safe for consumption, but are even beneficial for dogs as they provide iron and soluble fiber which keeps their hearts healthy and their digestive tracts running smoothly.

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350℉ (180℃).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Mash 2 very ripe bananas in a large bowl and add 1 ½ cup of quick oats as well as ⅓ cup of peanut butter. Mix well.
  • Drop 16-20 spoonfuls onto the lined baking tray.
  • Put it in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Now you have a vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free treat for you and your little furry friend!
