As if by design, Polka is now on the runway towards a second chance at a fabulous life. Timing is everything, and our sweet boy was rescued from a life on the street and is now thriving in our care.

Polka’s personality mirrors his unique markings.
Under his little toupee and Rorschach-like markings is a loving, cuddly, and playful fellow.
Polka loves affection and is most definitely a lap cat! He’ll flop down and stare up at his foster with his big eyes, settling in for a while.
He is an excellent communicator! Polka will use his head to ask for pets and to get kisses! As with any cat, Polka may get overstimulated and will let you know with a little, gentle nip.
Polka does have some favourite things. He loves to lounge in the sink, or cuddle on *his* blanket. His preferred “toy” is a ball of yarn, which combines things he enjoys: play and having his people around (anything with string-like qualities needs to be monitored with these wonderful creatures).
He’s also pretty food motivated too, so if you need to get up from a lap cat session, have some kibble handy.
Polka has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Polka’s Ideal Home
Polka would do well in a home where people are around to engage him and bestow the affection he craves and deserves.
Polka needs to be the only cat in the home.
