No longer waiting for spring, just waiting for you. Meet Persephone!
This little kitty received less-than-goddess treatment when her papers were denied at the airport. Her family boarded the plane for the long trip abroad and sent Persephone in an Uber solo to the shelter. Surprise! Caught between seasons, but ready to settle down, we’re happy to help this not-so-frequent flyer on her journey.

“She is so adorable” was one of our volunteer’s first impressions of this black beauty.
Persephone is understandably bewildered about her new circumstances and can be shy at first, but has been doing well decompressing and likes rubbing her back against human hands.
Persephone is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Persephone’s Ideal Home
We are unsure of Persephone’s past, although her Uber driver did give her five stars. As we get to know this sweet girl, we will be able to better determine if she would do well with children or a feline friend.
Her compatibility with dogs is unknown.
