Fiona, along with her five siblings, arrived at EHS after a long journey to Canada. She is a beautiful Scottish Fold with eyes like smouldering embers and a big loving heart.

In foster
Fiona has a very outgoing and sociable personality. She loves being involved with those around her and will follow you from room to room to make sure she doesn’t miss anything interesting.
Fiona will walk beside and sometimes in front of your feet as you putter about your day. Please keep an eye on her so you don’t trip!
Kittens, like Fiona, have lots of energy! An explorer by nature, she is rarely idle for long.
Having said that, she is a big fan of couch cuddles and will happily binge some TV while snuggled up to you.
Potential adopters should be aware that the genetic mutation responsible for a Scottish Fold’s distinct ears also puts it at risk for joint and bone disease. Fiona’s forever family will need to monitor her health, weight, and mobility; schedule regular veterinary check-ups; and prepare for future medical costs over time.
Fiona will be spayed and is microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and up to date on core vaccinations.
Fiona's Ideal Home
Fiona is very much a homebody and is happiest in a space where she can roam around or stretch out and relax depending on her mood.
Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans.
It is important that Fiona either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence or be adopted with one of her siblings or another compatible EHS cat.
Fiona has dermatitis (skin inflammation) which is responding to medication. She may have underlying allergies. She would be foster-to-adopt for now until we have a treatment strategy.
EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption to assist Fiona with successfully transitioning into a forever home. During this time, our skilled volunteers will offer support to the potential adopters as they get to know Fiona and help ensure everyone settles in comfortably together.
