Agatha carries a quiet majesty—soft, dignified, and full of heart.

Rescued from the streets with her four kittens, Agatha arrived at EHS like a heroine stepping out of a difficult first chapter. Not much is known about her past, but it’s clear there’s a loving soul beneath her regal calm. With patience, love, and kindness, we believe her true colours will shine beautifully.

About Agatha

  • In foster
  • Agatha is described by her foster mom as majestic, curious, cautious, slow, and calm.
  • While she is not aggressive, she is cautiously taking some time to come out of her shell and gain trust in her foster mom.
  • Agatha is getting more confident by the day and likes to be close to her foster mom during meals.
  • She is now head-butting her foster mom and begging for pets.  She allows pets on her back and middle area—but her head and belly are still off limits!
  • Her foster mom notes that Agatha has become more playful and will tap and play with random objects—including pens!  Her new obsession is a soft toy spider and a bird wand toy.
  • She loves her cat tree and is especially interested in windows so she can watch all the activity outside (birds!).
  • She has become good friends with the resident cats, often sharing cuddles, head-butts and rubs.
  • Agatha likes to be around company, and will constantly follow her foster mom to the kitchen and bathroom.
  • She loves napping on the couch when her foster is sitting close by.
  • Food is a key to Agatha’s heart, and she lets her guard down when it’s time to eat! She knows when it’s “mealtime” and will magically appear in the kitchen while her foster mom is cooking. She also runs to the spot where she knows her own dinner is about to be served.
  • Agatha is especially interested in windows and all the activity outside.
  • She’s a communicative girl who is curious about the world around her and who seems to be getting more confident every day
  • Agatha loves elevated resting spots from which she’ll quietly observe her surroundings.
  • This little lady only accepts Churu treat when it’s served on a tray (never from the tube!).
  • Agatha is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

Agatha's Ideal Home

  • Agatha is friendly with the resident cats in her foster home, so we believe she can either be adopted into a family with another compatible feline or into a household where she'd be the only cat.
  • We are still learning about Agatha, but at this point we feel that she would benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
  • We do not know how Agatha feels about dogs or other pets.
  • Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Agatha settle into her new environment.

Agatha is ready for her next chapter, and with some love and patience, she’ll continue to blossom in her own way. Are you ready to watch the rest of Agatha’s story unfold? If so, fill out an adoption application today!
