Happy new beginnings for Gigi!

Posted 31/03/2024 | |

Our girl Gigi has found a home!

Back in February, we featured Gigi for Valentine’s Day so we could find her the love of her life. She was such a friendly and easy-going dog, and we were determined to find her a family.

We’re happy to announce that last month, a wonderful couple adopted Gigi, and she is already settling right in, going for walks and napping on their couch.

Gigi had come to us after being found as a stray by Hamilton Animal Services. No one claimed her, and she eventually made her way to us so we could help find her a home. With her love for people, Gigi immediately became a favourite among volunteers. She was very playful and well-trained, so we could tell she had likely been a part of someone’s family, only proven by her love of couches, which she always melts into.

We don’t know her exact age, but we believe she’s four or five years old, which means she has a long life ahead of her with her new family.

Congratulations Gigi!

EHS has visiting hours, only for cats who are at our shelter. Visiting hours are 2-6pm on Saturday & Sunday. If you'd like to adopt a cat or dog (including one of our special dogs), please apply online and one of our volunteers will contact you.
