Get Your Move On and help raise funds for the Etobicoke Humane Society!

Our Leashes by the Lake event was a staple for EHS, but since we can’t hold our annual walk-a-thon, we want you to join this virtual fundraising event and get active to support the care of our cats and dogs.

It’s super easy, just sign up and start raising money by walking, biking, doing yoga, or any other exercise you’d like. You can even get creative and do biceps curls with your cat or push-ups with your dog.

Your exercise can be a one-time activity —  such as doing a mini marathon through the neighbourhood with your family, or it can be a weekly or daily event.

Reach out to friends and family, post on social media or spread the word any other way to gather donations for your exercises.

Funds raised will directly support the Vet Fund Campaign, ensuring we’re able to continue providing the best care for animals in need of our assistance. Each year, vet bills are our largest expense as we provide high-quality care to all of our animals. This includes routine care such as vaccinations and spays or neuters, as well as specialized dental or eye care.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 through the Get Your Move On virtual event, which is why we need your help.

Start by creating your own fundraising page. You can join solo, or get together with a group of friends or family or even co-workers.

EHS has visiting hours, only for cats who are at our shelter. Visiting hours are 2-6pm on Saturday & Sunday. If you'd like to adopt a cat or dog (including one of our special dogs), please apply online and one of our volunteers will contact you.
