5 Tips to Get a Cat Into a Carrier

Cats don’t always like to do what they’re told, so when it comes to getting them into a carrier, it’s not an easy task. As an animal rescue, we often have to get scared, sick and traumatized cats into carriers – usually for vet visits – and we’ve developed a few tricks over the years. Here are our top 5 tips to get a cat into a carrier.

Office Hours

Weekdays | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Weekends | 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Cat Drop In Visiting Hours

Weekdays| 10:00 am – 11:30 am & 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Weekends | 2 pm – 6 pm

*All other visits are by appointment only
*No visitors permitted for Kittens from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

DOGS: Visits with dogs are by appointment only. Please fill out an application for the dog that you are interested in and an EHS representative will contact you.
