Limited visitation for cats. See Details HERE
Almost 18 months after we moved our animals into foster homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re taking the first step towards returning to regular operations.
Our shelter still remains closed to visitors (except by appointment), but we are bringing some animals back into the building, along with minimal volunteer shifts.
We’ll be making sure to limit the number of volunteers allowed in the shelter at one time, based on Public Health guidelines and we’ll be ready to adjust our policies should Public Health requirements change.
We will be continuing with our cleanliness protocols, hand sanitizing and masks will still be required indoors. We will also be providing training to our volunteers to ensure all are up to date with our new processes.
Some of our animals will still require foster homes as we found throughout the pandemic that many of them do better in home environments. But by allowing some animals to return to the shelter, we can ensure we continue to provide care for our animals who aren’t able to find foster homes.
