A Wet, Slobbery Thank You from our Pooches

Our animals would like to send a BIG thank you to all our friends who came out to support the Etobicoke Humane Society at the 2nd Annual Leashes by the Lake Walk-a-Thon. Our walk raised over $5,000 for our shelter – with all funds going directly into animal care and operations. With our recent move to a larger location, the much needed funds will help us rescue a greater number of injured, abused and abandoned animals.

We would like to thank every participant and especially our volunteers who continue to dedicate their time and their hearts to our animals.

The event also offered a Pet Fest for vendors across the GTA to meet and greet our dogs and join the community for a great cause. We were also lucky enough to have some great raffle prizes donated as well. Thank you to the following businesses and rescues:
