Babies are expensive, including the furry ones, so we’re throwing a shower to raise money for the kittens in our care.
This time of year is known as kitten season and we always see an increase in babies at EHS. Each of our kittens and their moms require special care, including food and vaccinations and will be spayed or neutered before they’re adopted.
The average cost of all of this is about $750 per kitten.
How your donations help
Our kitten shower will raise money to care for all of the babies that need our help before they get adopted to their forever homes.
We’re aiming to raise $25,000, which will go towards their medical care, food and any other items they need.

Looking to adopt one of our kittens? Kittens will be available for adoption when they’re between eight to 12 weeks of age and have had their initial kitten series vaccinations. Kittens less than six months old should be adopted in pairs or to a home with another cat.
Adoption fee for one kitten is $230 and $400 for two. If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $350.
