Cece is a people-focused cat who wants nothing more than constant affection, attention, and admiration from her humans.
She's far more than a pretty face, though her name does mean "blind to beauty" in Latin, ironically.
Cece is affectionate and confident, knowing exactly how to get what she wants.
When she spots someone nearby, she'll dash to "her" rug and strike her signature pose, demanding pets. This nightly ritual is sacred, and she will lock eyes with you until it's fulfilled.
Cece's vocal talents are reserved solely for food. Serenading you at breakfast and all the way to her bowl. Then comes her morning snooze bathing in sunlight if available.
Still young at heart, Cece loves to play, whether she's chasing toys or engaging her foster parents in games.
She's comfortable with visitors, especially when they have snacks. An audience is always welcome when she begins her tune.
A true cuddle expert, she enjoys cozy spots and will purr up a storm while making biscuits, giving you her famous soulful "love stare" when she wants extra affection.
She's a lap cat, expert biscuit maker, and purr machine when she’s feeling happy and content.
Her foster mom reports that Cece has an intense “love stare” that she’ll use if she’s been missing her people, gazing deep into their eyes and drooling while she demands lap time.
Cece is an active cat in stable health, however, like many seniors, she lives more or less harmoniously with some chronic health conditions, specifically hyperthyroidism, irritable bowel disease, and arthritis. These conditions are easily managed with daily medication which she takes in pill form, a special diet, and a monthly injection.
Cece is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

Cece must be the only cat in the house.
She craves companionship and would love a family who has the time to provide her with plenty of affection and attention.
