Once he bonds with you, his true gentle and affectionate nature emerges! Marlin is happiest cuddling on the sofa, just being with you.
ABOUT MARLIN:
- ~7year old, Boxer/Lab mix, medium-sized 60 lbs dog
- Marlin came to EHS as an unclaimed stray
- He knows all his obedience cues and learns new ones fast
- With professional help he has overcome his reactiveness to noise and strange dogs and is now ready to settle down with a family of his own
- Marlin is neutered, microchipped and is up to date with has core vaccinations
MARLIN’S IDEAL HOME:
- A single adult or couple living in a calm home and quiet neighbourhood
- A family that is willing to work through a transitional period with his trainer as they build a bond and gain his trust
- Direct access to a private, fenced yard so that he can have safe, off leash outdoor time
- No kids, no other pets in the home, at least initially
- Experienced dog owner who is prepared to invest time and energy in both helping him settle into his new home and providing the structure that he needs
Our trainer looks forward to working with his adopters to ensure a successful transition and knowledge transfer to his new family.
Marlin would make a great loving and faithful companion.
