Adoption Process for Dogs

Complete an Application

1. Once you find a dog that meets your criteria, fill out an Online Adoption Application.
2. You will receive a confirmation email that we have received your application.
3. We prioritize processing the applications that meet the dog’s Adoption Criteria on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Phone Interview

Once we have reviewed your application, the dog's Adoption Coordinator will reach out to you via email to schedule a phone call. This conversation is a good opportunity for us to get a sense of whether the dog is a good match for you and answer any questions you may have

Meet & Greet

If all parties are in agreement that the dog may be a good match for you, we will schedule a meeting for you to meet the dog.

Home Visit (in person or virtual)

The next stage in the process, is to schedule an in person or virtual home visit so you can walk us through where the dog will be spend the majority of its time.

Adopt!

Once you have been approved to adopt we will finalize all documentation/payment electronically and schedule a date and time for you to pick up your new best friend
