Calypso, along with her sisters, Penelope and Helen, came to us from an overcrowded municipal shelter. They’ve stuck together through all their challenges and are ready to find their forever homes. Calypso promises she won’t hold you captive for seven years!
About Calypso
In foster
Calypso is described as the most outgoing member of the group. She’s usually up on a windowsill or in a cat tree in the open.
Kittens, like Calypso, have lots of energy!
Though she doesn’t hide as much as her sisters, Calypso is still a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans.
With the help of a foster family, Calypso is on a journey to adapt to a new environment and become more comfortable around people.
Calypso will be spayed, and is microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and up to date on core vaccinations.
Calypso’s Ideal Home
It is important that Calypso either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with one of her siblings or another compatible EHS cat.
Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans.
A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Calypso settle into her new environment. If needed, EHS will offer post-adoption support to assist Calypso with a successful transition to her forever home.
Calypso is looking forward to meeting you! Apply to adopt her today!
