About Jacob
In shelter
We don’t know much about Jacob’s background, but he was found as a stray and may have had limited experience with humans. However, he is adjusting to shelter life as best he can.
Jacob prefers to keep to himself in his kennel, but he does love to approach when tube treats are being offered.
He enjoys being pet with the back-scratcher, even leaning in for a few cheek scritches.
Like most cats, Jacob absolutely adores cardboard boxes.
With a little time and patience, Jacob will be more open around you, even allowing hand pets every now and then.
Jacob is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Jacob’s Ideal Home
We are not yet sure how Jacob would fare with other cats. He seems to tolerate his kennel mate but may do better as the sole cat of the household.
He will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Jacob settle into his new environment.
