Amazing Grayce…
How sweet a meow! Grayce arrived at EHS as part of a larger group of cats who were all surrendered due to overcrowding. With her bright eyes and mischievous little smile, Grayce is ready for her “fur-ever” home.
About Grayce
- At shelter
- Grayce and her friends have lovingly been dubbed the “Greyscale Gang” because of their varying shades of black, white, and grey.
- Grayce is on the shy side, but once she is comfortable you will quickly discover how playful and energetic she really is!
- A wand toy is the best way to play with Grayce as it’s her favourite and guaranteed to get her attention.
- She is an absolute fiend for treats, sometimes even stepping in front of her siblings for the first lick at Churu.
- Grayce loves to cozy up inside her cubby, especially with her dear friend Argenta. Grayce will purr contentedly and loudly when curled up with Argenta.
- She can be easily startled by sudden movements or loud noises. Slow and steady is the best approach to this girl.
- Grayce is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans.
- Grayce is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people.
- Grayce is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
Grayce’s Ideal Home
- A skittish cat like Grayce will fare best in a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
- Grayce appears to do well with other cats and is familiar with their company. She can be adopted either as a solo cat or with another cat from the shelter.
- We are unsure if Grayce is good with dogs or other animals.
- She is an expert cat napper and would appreciate a cozy cat tree or sunny space to sleep and relax in her home.
- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Grayce settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Grayce with a successful transition to her forever home.
Grayce may take a bit of time to warm up to a new environment, but once she’s comfortable she is the sweetest little friend and companion. If you’re ready to have her grace your presence, apply to adopt her today.
