We’d like to share an update on our dog program and work that’s been happening behind the scenes. Recently, we’ve had some changes to our volunteer team, and as a result, we’re taking time to thoughtfully rebuild our in-shelter dog operations.
During this time, our dogs are being well cared for in loving foster homes and at our dedicated off-site training facilities. We’re taking advantage of this quiet time to refresh our dog area so it’s ready to welcome back our canine friends when we’re ready.
We’re excited about the improvements underway and grateful for your support as we shape the next chapter of our program.
What This Means:
This moment of transition gives us a wonderful opportunity to grow our dog team, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
To prepare for bringing dogs back to the shelter, we’ll soon be posting numerous volunteer opportunities as we look to fill key roles, such as dog adoption manager, dog medical manager, dog volunteer manager, and intake coordinator.
These positions will help manage the adoption process for our dogs, manage recruitment and volunteers, and coordinate the dogs that come into our care.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference in the lives of animals, this is a great way to do it. These roles are vital to helping us reopen our doors to dogs in need and continue our mission of giving our rescue animals the second chance they deserve.
Watch our website for postings (coming soon) and to submit your application.
Please share this post with others. Every share brings us closer to finding the right people to bring our dog program back to life.
Thank you for your continued support, compassion, and belief in our mission.
